Support Harlem Lacrosse
by posted 10/14/2020

Hello Franklin Girls Lacrosse Families,
We are reaching out to everyone with an exciting opportunity to support Harlem Lacrosse and students from underprivileged communities through the Harlem Lacrosse Virtual5k! Harlem Lacrosse teams play in the Founders League and we’re excited for this opportunity. We’re joining forces to give back to an amazing organization, and we are encouraging full participation from the family — moms, dads, siblings, grandparents — everyone is welcome!
Harlem Lacrosse is a school-based non-profit that changes the life trajectories of youth through daily academic support, mentoring, college prep, career readiness, and lacrosse instruction. In light of COVID-19 and the heightened awareness of racial injustice, the work of Harlem Lacrosse is important now more than ever before. Program directors continue to provide “in-school” support in Zoom classes and run lacrosse practices after school, empowering students to reach their full potential. Harlem Lacrosse is a truly extraordinary organization and one that is very close to my heart.
We hope you’ll consider participating in the Harlem Lacrosse Virtual 5k!

Here’s how you can get involved:

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Adrian Heneveld at  .
Thank you for your support!
